Experience summary
I have started working in Hong Kong since 2009. My first employer was a family with two children – a 16-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl. Although they were teenagers, I had to attend their needs with love and patience. My major duties were reminding their schedule, preparing the uniforms, clothes, and things for school, assisting them in homework, studying with them, supervising their activities at home, preparing meals and snacks for them, accompanying them to attend extracurricular activities, playing age-appropriate games and toys with the younger girl, like chess games. I also had to pay attention to their intellectual well-being and deliver right values to them. As they were growing up, there were a lot of emotional problems to deal with, so I would be their guidance to give full support for their development. I was also responsible for finishing all housework. At present, I am working for my employer with a 10-year-old girl since April 2011. My main duties are preparing meals and snacks for her, preparing uniform and things for school, helping her out with homework, bringing her to school and park and fetching up, playing with her, reading story books with her, playing sports with her, putting her to naps, etc. Besides, I am responsible for cooking, ironing, washing, going to market and cleaning the house.
Why choose me?
I am a Filipino born in the province of Guihulngan Negros Oriental, Philippines. I am married, have a six-year-old boy and a loving husband. There are only two daughters and I am the elder one in my family. At present, my younger sister is living with my father. My father is a former farmer, but he is staying at home due to medical reasons now. My mother is a domestic helper in Hong Kong, has been working since I was 2 years old. My family is very simple and happy. I have some valuable experiences in childcare. First of all, I am a mother of a 6-year-old boy and I took great care of him since his birth until he was 4 years old. As a mother, my responsibility to my child should be from feeding to playing and all kinds of physical needs. I also had to ensure the safety of my child, teach him new ideas about knowledge and everything that a mother can do to her child with best of her love. In 2009, I started to work in Hong Kong as a domestic helper, taking care of two children, a 16-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl, until March 2011. Although they were big enough, I still had to attend their needs with love and concern in order to ensure their development was healthy and happy. Currently, I am working for my second employer from April 2011. I have to take care of a 10-year-old girl. I have gained more than 7 years of childcare experience – as a mother in my hometown and a domestic helper in Hong Kong. I am sure I am fully equipped with the knowledge and experiences that are needed to be a professional and efficient domestic helper. I am also kind, understanding, and trustworthy. I love children and love to deal with them. I always enjoy the time with children and treat them as my own children.

Experience summary
With regard to my experiences with children, I took care of my 3 children since they were born until I came to work in Hong Kong in 2009. I worked for my first employer in November 2009, I took care of a 11-year-old boy and a dog. I had to pay extra care on hygiene because there was a pet in the home. Therefore, I had to spend more time on cleaning the house, dusting and vacuuming to ensure the family lived in a clean and hygienic house. Besides, I had to do other general housework and cook for the family. As for the boy, he was old enough to take good care of himself, but I also had to prepare his meals, remind him his schedule on extracurricular activities and tests and examinations, give him tutorials, assist him with homework, play with him and teach him English. At present, I am working for a family with a 3-year-old girl and a 3-month-old boy since December last year. Because I have accumulated sufficient infant care and childcare when I was still in the Philippines, I manage to take care of two children and at the same time to finish my assigned housework. My major duties include diapering, bathing, preparing meals and snacks, singing songs, listening to music, playing with them, accompanying them to park, playing simple games like ball games, board games and hide-and-seek, ironing, washing, marketing, cooking, cleaning the house, etc.
Why choose me?
I am a 36-year-old Filipino, married with 3 kids. I finished my course with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and I finished a care-giving course as well. I am hardworking, understanding, kind and patient. I love playing with children, listening to music and cooking. There were 6 members in my family – my parents, 2 brothers, a sister and me. I am the third child in the family. My father has already died because of sickness and my mother is a housewife. She is the one who takes care of my three children while I am working in Hong Kong. I would like to work in Canada to seek for a “greener pasture” because I will earn more than what I am receiving now. With a higher salary, I can bring a brighter future for myself and my three little kids because I can afford to send them to a good college. Regarding my experiences in childcare, I have gained a lot since I am a mother of three children and I have started working in Hong Kong as a domestic helper, taking care of children with the age ranging from infants to 12 years old. I have spent a lot of effort in raising my children and as a domestic helper, treat the children as my own kids. I love children because I feel happy simply because they are happy. My employers always feel comfortable and satisfied with my work and the way I take care of their children because I would do my best to protect the children from danger and I would make them safe all the time. I hope I would have a chance to become your nanny to take care of your children under my patience and care.

Why choose me?
I am a Filipino, 37 years old, a single mother to a 5-year-old girl. I have 1 brother and 4 sisters and I am the youngest child in the family. I am my father’s only child with his second wife. My father is a retired farmer and is now bedridden. I have a close relationship with my family. Everybody is supportive with each other and my parents raised us with Christian values, respect and love. I hope that I can have a better income so that I can afford the daily expenses of my retired father. I graduated from San Agustin Institute of Technology in 1995, and I am a licensed midwife in the Philippines. I worked as a volunteer midwife in a hospital in the Philippines for 8 months becoming going to Hong Kong. I have gained around 7 years of work experience since I started to work for my first employer as a domestic helper in Hong Kong in 2000. I have been mainly taking care of children who are newborn and pre-school toddlers. I have also taken care of teenagers as well. Therefore, I have childcare experiences to look after children at different stages. The responsibilities for taking care of teenagers need more effort for helping them out with homework and examinations whereas maintaining hygiene is very crucial when taking care of infants. I am confident to say that it is not a problem for me to finish the housework and taking care of children’s needs because I have gained a lot of related experiences which help me better my services. Furthermore, I am also a mother of a 5-year-old girl. I understand the needs of infants and how mothers care about their children, so I always treat the children as my own children to take care of. In order to enhance my skills of childcare, I attended some courses which improved my knowledge. I participated in a Child Care First Aid course and CPR for Beginners. These two courses surely demonstrated a better understanding for me about looking after different children at different stages as well as the first aid management when common injuries occur. I can ensure a safer environment for children. I am very friendly, outgoing, simple and hardworking. I am sure you and your kids will like me and I really wish that I can be given a chance to serve your family in the near future.
